Jack Chase

I am currently working as a History and Politics teacher in an outstanding secondary school. Throughout my five years of teaching I have gained a wide-range of experience teaching both the Edexcel and AQA specifications at GCSE and A Level. In my previous role as Subject Leader of History, I oversaw the development of a rigorous and knowledge rich History curriculum.

The most rewarding aspect of the job has been facilitating powerful learning opportunities for my students, where their desire to learn more about our collective past has transformed the ways in which they understand and interact with the wider world. Maximising the life opportunities of my students through individual attention and care is the driving motivation underpinning my teaching.

At KS5 History level, I have taught/currently teaching the following AQA History courses: 1L – The Quest for Political Stability (Germany 1871-1991), 1C – The Tudors 1485-1603 and 2S The Making of Modern Britain 1953-2007.
