I am a Maths graduate and PGCE-qualified teacher at secondary level mathematics, also I am fully DBS certified. I have over 10 years’ experience teaching all ages with students of all abilities in a range of settings. I offer Primary, KS3, GCSE, AS and A Level Maths tuition. I have also taught many adults in further education or wanting to access a University course through access qualifications such as Functional Skills.

I have always loved maths and teaching, and aim to instil some of my passion to my students so they overcome any difficulties and anxieties with the subject allowing them to achieve their full potential. I have a relaxed and friendly manner and work with the student to understand their particular needs and learning styles. I then produce individualised learning programs that will engage and inspire whilst developing their confidence, skills and success in maths. I have worked with students having additional needs and provide help in areas such as coping with maths or exam stress.

I am highly experienced at online tuition having an IT background and committed to teaching methods that result in long-term permanent learning and understanding. Throughout the tutoring relationship I continually assess and provide feedback to pupils and parents or mentors to maximise the benefits of the tuition and the outcomes for the student.
